Bea studied Language and Literature at UP Baguio, graduating cum laude in 2018. Her food story, "Etag, and Other Preserved Things" won in the 2020 Mama Sita’s Heritage Food Story competition. Her work "goodfire" was given honorable mention for the 2021 PBBY-Salanga Prize.

Ines Bautista-Yao
Ines Bautista-Yao is the author of One Crazy Summer, What’s in your Heart, Only A Kiss, When Sparks Fly, All That Glitters, Someday With You, and Swept off my Feet. She teaches English at the Ateneo de Manila University, edits the Jesuit magazine, The Windhover, and is the former editor-in-chief of Candy and K-Zone magazines. She is also a wife and mom who lives in the Philippines with her husband and two little girls.

Alexanda Romualdez (Broekman)
Alexandra Romualdez Broekman is a mother, educator, illustrator, entrepreneur, and writer. She grew up in the Philippines, and holds 2 degrees: one in Communication Arts, and the other in Early Childhood Education focused on Montessori pedagogy.
After 6 years as a Marketer with Google, she left to pursue her creative entrepreneurship dreams, as well as to focus on her family life.

Genine Garcia can usually be found reading picture books to her son, Ben. When she can get pockets of me-time, Genine loves cooking, baking and has a brown thumb in gardening. She lives in the sunny surf town of La Union with her husband, son and one dog.

Vince Angelo Gicaraya
Vince Angelo Gicaraya is a graduate student from UP Diliman. He is currently studying environmental science and bird conservation/ecology. He lives in Aurora Province, Central Luzon where he enjoys biking, birdwatching and the occasional kayaking.

Mark and Abi Plaza are lifestyle and parenting content creators. They currently live in Thailand with their son, Tikoy. Mark is an educator, and Abi is a writer and
business owner. May Hugis Pusong Balát ang Kapatid Ko is their first children's book. Mark and Abi advocate reading as a family. On Saturdays, Mark bakes goodies
while Abi recreates dishes they love at home.

Tommy Lee is the founder and president of Resource Global, an organization whose mission is to teach, mentor and connect emerging marketplace leaders around the world so they can renew their cities and workplaces. Tommy has a bachelor’s degree from Washington University and a master’s degree from Moody Theology Seminary. He enjoys living in Chicago with his wife Charlene and daughters Samantha and Karra. He is the host of multiple podcasts, one of which is not related to his day job, but related to his love of fantasy sports: NFL Fantasy Matchup.

Ladie Mae Menina
Ladie Mae spent her first 12 years in the province of Capiz and transferred to Manila for her high school and college education. It was those first 12 years that shaped her ideas and choices and honed her passion for creating stories. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from UP Diliman.
